Khurda: A Class X student was found hanging from a tree on the premises of Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School in Odisha’s Khurda district on Friday.
According to sources, the deceased was a native of Gajapati district and staying in the hostel of the residential school. It is being suspected that the boy took the extreme step after principal of the school took away his mobile phone last night.
On being informed, police have reached the spot and initiated an investigation. “Probe is currently underway. We are looking into all possible angles. The student’s family members have been informed about the incident,” a police officer said.
