Bhubaneswar: Khau Galli, the food street near Ram Temple in Bhubaneswar, may soon be declared a ‘Clean Street Food Hub’.
According to sources, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) have started the process for the same. An audit was conducted in Khau Galli on Thursday.
“If Khau Galli secures good marks, it will be soon declared a ‘Clean Street Food Hub’,” informed BMC sources.
Notably, the guidelines to earn this tag include cleanliness, sanitisation and healthy food and atmosphere.
Clean Street Food Hubs can be found in New Delhi and Goa.
