The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Wednesday announced that it is going to introduce a lucky draw initiative to promote cleanliness.
Citizens can take photographs of garbage anywhere in Guwahati and send it on WhatsApp or email. They can also take photographs or videos of people throwing garbage on the road and send them.
There will be a lucky draw of the photographs received. The sender of the best photograph will be rewarded Rs 500 by GMC.
The five numbers issued by the civic body for this scheme are – 7399003003, 7399003004, 7399003002, 9399003001 and 88110070000.
