Cuttack: Chauliaganj police on Friday arrested Sanjay Sahoo aka Bhajana, a close aide of gangster Dhalasamanta Brothers from Cuttack for threatening a person with life.
Bhajana, who was out on parole following his mother’s death, had threatened to kill a man. Basing on a complaint, the police arrested Bhajana today, said sources.
Commissionerate Police had recovered a huge cache of arms during raid on the house of the jailed gangster brothers and crackdown on their associates in December, 2020.
Dhalasamanta brothers (D-brothers) were arrested in January, 2016 during a special operation launched by Commissionerate Police.
