Balasore: As many as 10 labourers working near Tamulia railway station in Balasore district had a narrow escape from a major train mishap on Wednesday.
According to available information, the Coromandel Express hit a concrete mixer machine which the labourers were trying to take across the railway crossing.
The machine was badly damaged under the impact of the collision. Fortunately, all the labourers escaped unhurt.
On being informed about the incident, railway officials and police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
