Dhenkanal: A woman and her newborn baby had a narrow escape after a ceiling fan snapped and fell in the cabin room they were admitted to at the primary health centre in Kamakhyanagar of Dhenkanal on Monday.
According sources, Subhasini Baral of Batagaon village under Kankadahanda block here had delivered a baby girl on Saturday. She along with her newborn was later shifted to cabin in the hospital.
The ceiling fan in the cabin fell near their bed, the sources added.
