New Delhi: A cloudburst in a village in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district claimed at least three lives and eight others went missing, according to news agency ANI on Monday.
ANI said that three persons lost their lives in Madkot and eight others went missing from a village in the neighbourhood.
“A rescue team is present at the spot,” Pithoragarh’s district magistrate VK Jogdande was quoted as saying by the news agency.
