Bhubaneswar: Leader of Congress Legislative Party (CLP) Narasingha Mishra will not accompany the delegation of Odisha MLAs going to New Delhi on Tuesday to meet President Droupadi Murmu.
According to sources, Mishra cited health reasons for not being able to go to Delhi with the delegation.
A delegation of 26 members of the Odisha Assembly led by Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha are scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. They will meet the President in Rashtrapati Bhawan to congratulate her on her election on Wednesday.
The delegation includes 17 BJD MLAs, 6 BJP MLAs and 3 Congress MLAs.
