Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday declared development projects worth over Rs 18 crore for Ramadevi Women’s University.
The CM made the announcement during a visit to the university for a function. The money will be spent for renovation of its old academic building, hostel building and open air stage, said sources.
This is a unique institute in the sense that it’s the first and only university in Odisha till now, dedicated to women’s education. It carries the vision of Maa Ramadevi for the education and empowerment of women in Odisha. Therefore, its responsibility is also unique. Efforts will be on for development of Ramadevi Women’s University, Naveen stated.
