CM Appoints Prasanna Acharya As BJD Parliamentary Leader In Rajya Sabha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday appointed Prasanna Acharya as the leader of the BJD parliamentary party in Rajya Sabha.

The chief minister has apprised Rajya Sabha chairman M Venkaiah Naidu of his decision after the party took a unanimous decision.

Acharya was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha on June 3, 2016.
