CM Mourns Death Of Eminent Scribe Chandrabhanu Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday mourned the death of eminent journalist Chandrabhanu Patnaik who passed away the previous night.

“Chandrabhanu was the shining star of the modern journalism with a reputation of being a renowned columnist and the editor of the highest order. He was an inspiration for the young and upcoming journalists of Odisha. His death has rendered irreparable loss in the field of journalism in Odisha,” the chief minister said.

The chief minister also expressed profound grief over the death of eminent cine journalist Radhanath Mohapatra.

He said Mohapatra was an active member of the Odisha Cine Critic Association and known for his incisive writing, translation and critical analysis.

“With his death, a void has been created in the Odia cine journalism,” the chief minister added.
