Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met Arpita Behera and congratulated her on being crowned Little Miss Galaxy 2018 at an international pageant in Bulgaria recently. “She has made our state proud,” said Naveen, while wishing her the best for the future.
This Class VII student of St Joseph Convent School in Sambalpur won the title for her excellent performance in the age group of 12 to 14 years.
Arpita’s parents Rajesh Behera, a businessman, and Binapani Behera, a teacher, have been her biggest support. She was crowned Little Miss Sambalpur in 2012 and now, has her eyes fixed on Miss India and Miss Universe titles.
In 2017, Myra Muni from Odisha was declared first runner-up in the Grand Finale of the Little Miss Galaxy competition.
