Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has dedicated the draft architectural plan of Shree Jagannath Heritage Corridor to the people of Odisha.
The CM announced this at the Lok Seva Bhawan here on Monday.
Naveen expressed “heartfelt gratitude” to the people, particularly those in Puri, for their “cooperation and active participation” in the Shree Jagannath Heritage Corridor Project.
He also announced that the names of all those who have donated their land for this project will be “engraved for eternity” in the heritage corridor. Besides, the land acquired for the heritage corridor by the government will be recorded in the name of Lord Jagannath, he added.
“This is a draft architectural plan. The components relating to security and functionality will be added by top professionals in their respective fields,” he pointed out.
The CM also sought valuable suggestions from the people on the draft plan by January 15 vide e-mail to jagannath.or@nic.in FAX (06752-252100) or over the phone (Landline: 06752-252900) to enable the government to come up with the final plan by February.
