Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off the second Biju Patnaik Himalayan Expedition at his residence here on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister congratulated the 15-member team, comprising 12 men and three women, and wished them success.
The team, headed by legendary mountaineer and first Indian lady to scale Mt Everest Bachendri Pal, would climb the 19,000-ft Mt Rudugaria in Uttarakhand.
The expedition is being organised by the state sports and youth affairs department in association with Tata Steel Adventure Foundation.
