Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Odisha Handicrafts Museum at Pokhariput here on Thursday.
The exhibits in the museum include traditional handicrafts, tribal crafts, patta paintings, wood carvings and other items in its galleries.
The museum named as ‘Kalabhumi’ has been constructed on 12.68 acres land area at a cost of Rs 34.85 crore.
The museum based on the design of the National Crafts Museum of Delhi houses preserved objects that are more than 100 years old, official sources said.
