Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday launched the ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Vikash’ mobile van from state secretariat here.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “In the first phase, the van will reach out to the people in four districts- Sambalpur, Koraput, Ganjam and Jajpur and make them aware about several welfare schemes and achievements of the state government.”
The mobile van would also convey the Chief Minister’s message to the public and people’s representatives.
The people of these districts can also share the problems faced by them for immediate redressal of the same through the initiative.
The ‘Ama Gaon, Ama Vikash’ programme was announced by the CM in May last year to strengthen BJD’s organisational reach in the state.
