CM Majhi Credits Centre’s Support For Massive Infra Push In Odisha, Lists Achievements In 2 Years



Baripada: As Odisha’s BJP government celebrated the completion of two years in office, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday outlined the achievements made during the period and credited the Centre’s support for accelerating development in the state.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to public welfare, Majhi expressed confidence that Odisha would emerge as a major employment hub in the coming years.

Speaking at a mega event in Rairangpur in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister described the occasion as a “golden chapter” in Odisha’s history and congratulated President Murmu on her 68th birthday. He expressed gratitude for her dedicated service and lifelong commitment to the nation.

Majhi also lauded the Prime Minister for introducing a series of welfare schemes since 2014, stating that these initiatives have delivered positive outcomes for people across the country.

erated Odisha’s development by ensuring better coordination between the Centre and the State. Highlighting the government’s performance over the past two years, the CM said several promises have been fulfilled, and development projects have gathered pace across various sectors.

Reiterating his administration’s commitment to good governance, the Chief Minister said the government remains steadfast in implementing its promises and will leave no room for complacency in advancing welfare programmes.

The CM assured that public welfare would continue to remain the top priority and pledged sustained efforts to deliver inclusive development and improved public services throughout the State.

Stressing that the state government has been serving the people with utmost devotion in last two years, the Chief Minister said despite many obstacles, the government has introduced several new programmes and schemes for the State’s women, the poor, farmers, youth, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and backward classes, thereby accelerating the pace of development.

Significant transformations have taken place in Odisha in fields like education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, livelihood, and industries. Due to the government’s liberal industrial policy, Odisha now stands before you as the preferred destination for industrialists, Majhi said.

“On the completion of two years, I assure the people of Odisha that our efforts for the welfare of the State will never diminish in any way. With everyone’s joint efforts, we are committed to achieving the goal of a prosperous Odisha (Viksit Odisha) by 2036, and we will surely accomplish it,” the Chief Minister said.
