Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday felicitated Sattwik Satyakam Devta, who secured All India Rank 100 in the Indian Civil Services Examination.
Sattwik, who hails from Hatadihi block of Keonjhar district, along with his parents, met the Chief Minister at Lok Seva Bhawan. While congratula
ting 29-year-old Sattwik for his success, the CM wished him a bright future.
Stating that such success will be an inspiration to other youth of the state, the Chief Minister said that serving the people is the main aim of the civil service. Majhi advised Sattwik to work with dedication for the betterment of the country and society.
The results the Civil Services Examination were announced on Friday. Altogether 958 candidates cleared the examination this year. Sattwik is a mechanical engineering graduate from Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR), Bhubaneswar. He completed his degree in 2018 and worked as an assistant manager at Nabard since 2023. Sattwik’s father Goswami Devta is a retired bureaucrat.
