Bhubaneswar: The Mohan Majhi government on Thursday announced a significant hike in the monthly remuneration of Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF) personnel.
According to the CMO release, three new battalions were recently formed under Odisha Special Strike Force, primarily consisting of former Army and Navy personnel as well as retired Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) members.
The revised pay structure is as follows:
• The monthly salary of Sepoy (GD) has been increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 45,000.
• Lance Naik/Naik/Havildar (GD) ranks saw a hike of Rs 50,000 from Rs 32,000.
• Junior Commissioned Officer (GD) will draw Rs 55,000, up from Rs 40,000.
• Junior Commissioned Officer (Instructor) has received a salary hike of Rs 55,000 from Rs 40,000.
Additionally, technical personnel in marine and mechanical roles will benefit from this revision:
• The salary of Digging Drivers/Seaman Mechanics/Khalasis has been increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 45,000.
• Syrang/Engine Drivers will get Rs 50,000, up from Rs 32,000.
• The pay increase for Masters is Rs 55,000 from Rs 40,000.
