Bhubaneswar: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended a formal invitation to his Odisha counterpart Mohan Charan Majhi and people of the state to take part in Maha Kumbh 2025 scheduled to be held from January 13 to February 26 at Prayagraj.
The invitation was handed over to Majhi by Uttar Pradesh Labour and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Satish Chandra Sharma at his residence on Saturday.
During the meeting, a ‘Kalas’ filled with Ganga water along with a logo of the Maha Kumbh, the world’s largest congregation of people held once every 12 years based on planetary alignments, was presented to Majhi.
Sports & Youth Services Minister Suraj Suryabanshi was also present.
