Bhubaneswar: Odisha government schools underwent a makeover as the ambitious school transformation project under the state government’s 5-T initiative was launched in Ganjam district’s Hinjili on Saturday.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated 10 transformed Hinjili schools in the first phase via the virtual platform.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, as many as 50 schools of Hinjili — CM’s Assembly constituency — have been completely transformed under the 5-T initiative.
Naveen, while addressing students, ex-students, ministers, MLAs and other people’s representatives, said that a total of 1,070 schools in Odisha will be transformed in the first phase.
A total of 20 MLAs and ministers, the Chief Secretary, 5-T Secretary along other senior officials attended the launch programme.
