Bhubanewar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled the logo and mascot for the Asian Athletics Championships here on Sunday.
Kalinga Stadium will host the 22nd edition of the Asian Athletics Championships from July 6 to 9 this year. Over 1,000 athletes from 45 countries are scheduled to take part in the championships.
Ranchi was supposed to host the event from June 1 to 4, but it pulled out owing to financial constraints. Subsequently, the Athletics Federation of India selected Bhubaneswar as the venue.
