Cuttack: In a fresh set of guidelines issued on Wednesday to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the Cutack Municipal Corporation has effected the change in the night curfew.
As per the CMC order, the night curfew will remain in force from 9 pm to 5 am in the areas under its jurisdiction. Movement of people is strictly prohibited during the period except in case of essential services.
The order stated that the lockdown shall continue to remain in force in the Containment Zones till July 31. There will be no movement of people in or out of
these zones, except for medical emergencies and for maintaining supply of essential
goods and services.
There shall be intensive contact tracing, house-to-house surveillance, and other clinical interventions, as required.
On Tuesday, the state government announced Unlock 2.0 guidelines from July 1.
