CMC Opens Online Slot Booking For COVID Vaccine In Cuttack

Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Tuesday opened the online slot booking for availing COVID vaccines in the city.

The CMC, in a Twitter post, said the online slot booking for 2nd dose and precaution dose of COVID vaccine will be opened from 6 pm on Tuesday.

As per the vaccination schedule released by the CMC, people can take Covishield vaccine at 3 places in the city between 9 am and 1 pm on Wednesday. Those places are CDA UCHC, City Hospital, PPC, DHH and SPM Outdoor at SCB Medical College and Hospital.

It may be noted that the state government had announced to launch its vaccination drive against COVID from January 19. According to sources in Health department, 1 lakh doses of Covishield were received by the government under the national COVID-19 vaccination programme of the Centre.

Earlier, the government had sought supply of the vaccines after the vaccines were exhausted by November 28.
