New Delhi: Prices of piped cooking gas and CNG for vehicles are likely to be revised. Prices in Delhi and Mumbai may increase by 10-11 per cent in the next month, according to ICICI Securities.
The price of natural gas produced by players like ONGC is fixed by the government every six months. The next review date is October 1.
The administered rate is expected to rise to $3.15 per million British thermal unit (mmBtu) for the next six months. Currently, it is $1.79.
The price of deep water fields gas, such as KG-D6 of Reliance Industries Ltd and BP Plc, is expected to rise to $7.4 per mmBtu next month.
