Cuttack: The enforcement squad of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) sealed a coaching institute on Thursday for violating the COVID-19 guidelines.
The squad, during a raid in the Arunodaya Market area, found students of Mahindra Coaching Centre flouting the safety protocols.
The squad later sealed the centre and issued a show-cause notice to the manager.
Enforcement has been intensified in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar following a surge in cases.
The COVID-19 spike in Cuttack city was earlier attributed to clusters detected in educational institutions.
