According to sources, 11 fishermen had left in their mechanised boat for fishing in deep water before the Met office issued a warning on the day. The Coast Guard ship, Anmol, launched a search operation for the fishing boat and traced it. The Coast Guard personnel went to the spot and rescued all the fishermen. They also toed their boat to safety. The condition of the fishermen was stated to be normal.
