Bhubaneswar: Keshab Swain, who holds a Guinness World Records for breaking 85 tender (yellow) coconuts with elbow in one minute, will attempt for a new record at Exhibition Ground here on Saturday.
Swain is looking forward to making it to the 2018 edition of Limca Book of Records with this performance. Officials of Limca Book of Records will be present to record it.
The event will be followed by an hour long cultural programme with Abhijit Majumdar as the star attraction. It will be telecast live onhttps://www.youtube.com/user/KeshabSwain.
Swain is the first person from Odisha to find a mention in the Guinness World Records. He made it to the records book in 2012. Earlier, he had found a place in Limca Book of Records in 2011 by breaking 250 green coconuts within 8 minutes and 56 seconds. He has showcased his talent in different television shows.
Swain was conferred Biju Patnaik State Bravery Award (2008-09) for risking his life to save passengers and tourists from a burning bus in state capital.
