Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued cold wave warning for two districts of Odisha till 8.30 am on Tuesday.
Some places in Kalahandi and Kandhamal will experience the chill during this period, it said.
Notably, Phulbani in Kandhamal had been recording the lowest minimum temperature of 7 degree Celsius for the past two days.
While dry weather is likely to prevail in the state till February 18, the IMD has forecast light rain/ thundershower at one or two places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj the following day.
The night temperature may witness a gradual rise by 3 to 5 degree Celsius after two days, it added.
