College Principal Arrested For Duping Admission Aspirant In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Police on Saturday arrested principal of a physiotherapy college in the city for reportedly duping a person of Rs 10 lakh on the plea of admission to the college.

According to police sources, principal of Hi-Tech College of Physiotherapy Prem Ranjan Ojha had taken Rs 10 lakh from one Prajna Prakash Das for admitting him to the college in 2017.

But Ojha failed to get Das the admission into the college. Ojha also did not return the amount despite his assurances for three years. Das filed a complaint in this regard at Khandagiri police station.

Several other medical aspirants have also been cheated by the accused. Further investigation in the case is continuing, said the sources.
