College Student Jumps Into Birupa River In Odisha’s Cuttack, Missing

Cuttack: A Plus III student went missing after jumping into Birupa river in Odisha’s Cuttack on Monday.

The student identified as Pradip Kumar Das, left his bicycle and cell phone on the bridge before jumping into the river, sources said.

Locals spotted the Pradip jumping and alerted the fire service and police.

Till last reports came in, a team of rescue personnel were searching for the student. His family has been informed but cause behind the step is yet to be ascertained, sources said.
