Mumbai: Comedian Kunal Kamra sent a legal notice to IndiGo on Saturday to demand Rs 25 lakh for “causing mental pain and agony” and revocation of a six-month ban imposed on him for heckling Arnab Goswami on a flight Wednesday. He has also demanded a public apology.
The Mumbai-based stand-up comic was banned after he posted a video throwing questions at Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV, on board a Indigo flight from Mumbai to Lucknow.
Following Indigo’s ban, three other airlines did the same.
Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had tweeted against his behavior prior to the ban.
