Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate of Police on Sunday issued an advisory for movement of vehicular traffic in Bhubaneswar during the winter session of Odisha Assembly.
The winter session of the Assembly is scheduled to begin on November 26. It will have 30 business days and conclude on December 31.
The Commissionerate Police has imposed the following traffic restrictions in view of the security concern:
However, the traffic restrictions will not be applicable for the vehicles engaged in emergency services like police, fire and ambulance and those authorised to enter the Assembly, Secretariat and other offices.
As per the Assembly schedule, the First Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for 2024-25 will be presented in the House on November 26. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who also holds the Finance Department, will present the Appropriation Bill on the First Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for 2024-25 on December 5.
