Cuttack: A day after 108 Mathematics OMR sheets went missing from the SSD High School in Padia block of Odisha’s Malkangiri district, during the annual High School Certificate examination, a complaint was lodged against four employees of the examination centre on Monday.
Briefing journalists here, Board of Secondary Education president Dr Jahan Ara Begum said the board had directed the Block Education Officer to probe into the incident and lodge a complaint with the police. Acting on the directive, the BEO on Monday lodged a complaint against the centre superintendent, deputy superintendent, observer and peon at the Padia police station.

“We are waiting for the outcome of the police investigation into the matter and will take appropriate action against the guilty accordingly,” she said.
Notably, the centre superintendent had lodged a complaint at Padia police station on Sunday. Acting on his complaint, the police had detained and interrogated five teachers.
