Complaint Against Nitish Kumar In Bihar Court; Hearing On Nov 25

New Delhi: Even as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar apologised for his controversial remarks on the role of women’s education in population control, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday lashed out at him and questioned the silence of the Opposition in the matter.

Addressing a rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna, PM Modi said such statements made against women amounted to insulting the country.

“A big leader of the INDI alliance, ‘Ghamandiya Gathbandhan’ used indecent language for women inside (Bihar) assembly yesterday. They are not ashamed. No leader of the INDI alliance said a single word against it. People who think like this about women, can they do anything good for you?” PM Modi said.

“Those who have this evil attitude towards our mothers and sisters are insulting our country. How low will you fall,” he added.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been filed against Nitish Kumar in a Muzaffarpur court over his explicit remarks on population control. The complaint was filed by lawyer Anil Kumar Singh and a hearing on the matter will take place on November 25, India Today reported.
