Puri: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday reviewed the repair works at the Jagamohan of Jagannath Temple here.
During a review meeting held under the chairmanship of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief administrator Pradip Jena, the CM said, “I came to Srimandir to pray to the Lord for the people of Odisha and also to thank Him for peaceful completion of Rath Yatra. I also reviewed the ongoing repair works in the temple.”
The chief minister also directed the officials concerned to complete the repair works in four months.
“The temple administration has asked the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) officials to ensure eight hours of work every day to complete the repairs within stipulated time,” said Jena.
The ASI staff and temple servitors also attended the meeting.
