Jatni: Passerby and labourers had a narrow escape after a concrete building frame of side wall at the under-construction overbridge collapsed at Jatni in Khurda district on Thursday.
No injury was reported.
The incident took place when the side wall of the bridge was being fixed to the bridge. One of the iron plates got damaged following which the mishap took place.
The labourers were reportedly engaged at the construction site by Panda Infra Projects Private Limited, which was blacklisted by the state government after a part of the under-construction flyover bridge at Bomikhal area in Bhubaneswar collapsed in May this year.
One labourer had while another was severely injured in the mishap.
