Bhadrak: Unidentified miscreants damaged the vehicle of senior Congress leader Arya Kumar Gyanendra near Banta Chhak at Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak district on Sunday.
According to sources, more than 50 miscreants intercepted the vehicle in which the Congress leader was travelling around 11 am and ransacked it. They also asked him to leave Bhandaripokhari assembly constituency within eight hours.
The incident took place while he was heading towards an eatery for breakfast. Following this, police took him to a hotel amid tight security.
Gyanendra alleged that that BJD supporters were behind the attack.
