Cong Releases List Of Odisha Election Committee Members

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of General Elections, the Congress has announced its state election committee in Odisha.

The All India Congress Committee (AICC), in a release on Friday, said the party president has approved the proposal for constitution of Pradesh Election Committee of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).

As per the release, signed by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, OPCC president Sarat Pattnaik will be the chairman of the election committee. It also announced the names of 18 other members of the committee.

Besides senior leaders of state Congress, young and women leaders have found place in the list. Four women leaders have been included in the election committee of the party.

The Congress Legislature Party leader Narsingh Mishra, former OPCC president Niranjan Pattnaik, Jaydev Jena, Prasad Harichandan and Sarat Rout are among the senior leaders in the committee.
