Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of Congress got a new in-charge on Friday as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) appointed Dr. Chellakumar to the post.
Chellakumar, who was elected as MP from Krishnagiri constituency in Tamil Nadu in 2019, replaced Jitendra Singh as the in-charge of Odisha Congress.
Meanwhile, veteran Congress leader from Odisha, Bhakta Charan Das has been appointed as in-charge of the party in Mizoram and Manipur. He has also been included in the CWC as permanent invitee.
