Congress’ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra To Begin In Odisha Tomorrow; Check Rahul Gandhi’s Itinerary

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Congress on Monday shared the itinerary of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which will enter the state via Sundargarh from neighbouring Jharkhand on February 6.

Rahul Gandhi will lead the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra through Sundargarh, Rourkela, and Jharsuguda, before leaving the state for Chhattisgarh. He will reach Biramitrapur on the Odisha-Jharkhand border on the night of February 6 and be accorded a rousing reception there by party workers.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE

February 6

Border: Basjol, Jharkhand-Birmitrapur, Odisha
Flag handover ceremony and evening break

Bija Bahal, Rampal

February 7

8.45 am: Departure from camp
9.30 am: Padyatra from Uditnagar (Near SP Office), Rourkela, to Panposh Chhak (3.4km)
10 am: Public address at Panposh Chhak

Lunch break at Birsa Munda Ground, Ranibandh

2 pm:  Yatra resumes from Ranibandh, Rajgangpur, followed by public address, reception at Kutra and then at Bargaon (32Km)
4.30 pm: Padyatra from Bus Stand Chhak Sundargarh via Stadium Chhak to SBI Chhak (1km), followed by public address and evening break

Amlipali Ground, Jharsuguda

February 8

8 am: Yatra resumes from Old Bus Stand, Mahatma Gandhi Chhak to Beheramal Kisan Chhak in Jharsuguda town followed by public address

12 noon: Morning break at Madhuban Dhaba, Govindpur
Lunch at Kureimal

2 pm: Yatra resumes from Kanaktora, Jharsuguda, to Rengalpali, Raigarh, along Odisha- Chhattisgarh border
Flag handover ceremony
Evening break

OPCC president Sarat Pattanayak and senior Congress leaders are already in Rourkela to welcome Rahul and join the Yatra.

Coming close on the heels of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge’s visit, Rahul’s Nyaya Yatra is expected to boost the morale of the party leaders and workers in Odisha ahead of the elections. Kharge visited Bhubaneswar on January 29 and addressed the Odisha Bachao Samavesh. He also interacted with party leaders and discussed the route of the Odisha leg of Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra and the preparations.
