Congress Leader Naba Das To Join BJD!

Jharsuguda: With rumours flying thick and fast about senior Congress and Jharsuguda MLA Naba Das joining the BJD, questions are now being raised over state Congress leadership.

The possibility of Das joining the ruling party gained ground at a meeting he presided over at the party office at Raghunathpalli of Kolabira block in the district on Saturday.

During the meeting, he sought the opinion of his party men on joining any other party, to which they assured him of all support.

Sources said that Das has convened a party meeting at Hatianala panchayat office of Laikera block on Sunday.

While senior Congress leaders are yet to issue a statement on this matter, sources in the party said that a change of guard looks evident with OPCC working president weighing other options in hand.
