Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Samanta Khamari quit the party on Monday in protest against the party’s decision to field Sagar Das from Bhawanipatna assembly constituency.
He tendered his resignation to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Niranjan Patnaik.
Khamari also accused former MP Bhakta Charan Das of ‘partiality’ in selection of candidates for the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Odisha.
