Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) will announce the names of the new presidents of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and District Congress Committee (DCC) of Odisha in January.
PCC president Niranjan Patnaik told the media on Tuesday that the AICC has decided to restructure the PCC and select the new DCC president to strengthen the party at the grassroots level in Odisha.
He further stated that Congress will stage a statewide protest against the political and economic instability in the country. The agitation will be conducted in line with the Bharat Bachao programme, which will begin on the party’s foundation day on December 28, he added.
