Jagatsinghpur: A Congress worker was stabbed to death at Noliasahi near Gadakujanga under Balikuda-Ersama Assembly constituency on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Lachman Behera.
Police sources said some miscreants attacked Lachman with a broken glass bottle while he was returning to his house after casting his vote.
He was rushed to Cuttack in a critical condition but died on the way, the sources added.
Lachman had joined Congress recently after quitting the BJD.
