Bhubaneswar: Mahila Police here on Tuesday arrested a constable posted with the Special Security Battalion (SSB) on charges of abetment to suicide.
He has been identified as Rajesh Das.
He was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by a woman, who claimed that he had ditched her after being in a serious relationship. The woman had attempted suicide by consuming poison and was later admitted to Capital Hospital here.
Further investigation is on.
