Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament, the BJD’s parliamentary meeting was convened at Naveen Nivas here on Saturday.
Chairing the meeting, the chief minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik advised the MPs to consult him before making any comment on both national and international issues.
Different issues faced by the people of the state were discussed in the course of the meeting. The MPs decided to raise important issues, including the longstanding Mahanadi water dispute, special category status to the state, hike in minimum support price of paddy and green tax in GST, during the upcoming monsoon session.
