Contractor Hacked To Death In Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: A contractor was hacked to death at RK Colony in
Nabarangpur district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Pradip Agarwal.

According to reports, three assailants barged into Agarwal’s house,
attacked him with swords and fled the spot immediately after committing
the crime.

Hearing his screams, some locals rushed to the spot and rushed him to
the district headquarters hospital in critical condition. But he
succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.

Police have started the investigation into the case. Though the reason
behind the murder is yet to be known, a business rivalry is suspected
to be the motive.
