Puri: Hundreds of contractual employees under the banner of CESU Electrical Employees’ Joint Action Committee took out a rally from Gundicha Temple to CESU office here on Thursday seeking fulfillment of their 16-point charter of demands.
The employees are demanding reinstatement of retrenched employees, regularization of the contractual workers and a monthly salary Rs 18, 000.
They threatened to intensify the agitation in the days to come, if the department failed to fulfil their demands at the earliest.
