Malkangiri: Two persons, including a policeman, were killed after the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a truck parked near a dhaba near Pangam under Mathil police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Sunil Choudhry and Rajesh Bhumia, both residents of Pangam village. Choudhry was a constable at the local police station.
According to sources, the accident took place when they were returning from Mathilde. The duo was rushed to a hospital at Mathil, where doctors declared them brought dead.
On being informed, police reached the accident spot and send the bodies for postmortem.
